Mission of HLCF
A new non-profit organization was established in North America called the Holy Land Conservation Foundation (HLCF) with parallel organization in the Holy Land. The HLCF serves several functions such as: 1) promoting environmental conservation by engaging in public education (through exhibits and outreach programs) and research pertaining to the rich natural resources of the area; 2) promoting science education among young individuals. Schools generally lack funding for science labs and this foundation (with a local museum and library) would provide a convenient method of filling the gap; and 3) promoting appreciation of the rich zoological, botanical, historical, and geological heritage of the Holy Land; and 4) engaging in research and technology transfer.
